Documentation & Entry Permit Services - Kadmat Island

The issuance of entry permit with supporting manifest (Itinerary report) is characterized by intense activity and confusion in terms of ferry schedule; and not to mention the unusual reservations by authority. It's because of this, permit documentation is normally outsourced by us to the local agents in Kavaratti, Lakshadweep. So as the charges.

Entry permit documentation is an independent service and the permit can be arranged to Kadmat/Minicoy and or Kavaratti Island Beach Resorts at an extra cost.

Documentation and Entry permits = INR. 4,800.00/- (Euro:75/-) For a Couple is applicable.

Regarding to the entry permit:
(Passportcopies and visa details has to be submitted for at least 7 days before the travel date).

The Lakshadweep permit is available one or two days in advance and it's copies
will be supplied to the following addresses:-

1. The District Magistrate,Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti…
2. The Superintendant of Police, UT. of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti.
3. The Addl. Sub Divisional Officer, Agatti Island/kadmat/Minicoy.
4. The Registration Officer, Agatti Island.
5. The Sub Inspector of Police, S.B.Kochi.
6. Agatti/Bangaram/Kadmat/Minicoy Island Resort/Guest-House (Whichever is applicable).
7. The Manager, Kingfisher/Indian Airlines at CIAL(Kochi airport)/Agatti.
8. The HSC/Boat (As per the programme)
9. The guests (By email or by fax)

 

Ferry Timing & Rates:- Agatti to Kadmat and Return
(Kindly note the alternative arrangements. It's because there will almost always remain some uncertainty associated with a change. About the Pablo-boat service, it's normally available without shade, toilet or safety features Journey takes 5 to 6 hrs and shuttling between the island, only in the morning)

Public Ferry timing:-

Agatti to Kadmat (Sundays & Wednesdays)
Departure from Agatti: 09.15 Hrs - Arrival at Kadmat: 12.15 Hrs

Kadmat to Agatti (Monday; Tuesday and Saturdays)
Departure from Kadmat: 10.00 Hrs - Arrival at Agatti: 12.45 Hrs

The following rates are applicable from 01 Jan, 2012 onwards:-
Ferry Service: Agatti-Kadmat-Agatti:INR.3000/- (Euro:50/-) Both way Per person.

Alternatives - in case of non availability of regular service:-
Private/Pablo boat of 8 to 12 capacity: INR.12/15,000/- (Euro:185/235/-) Per one way.

Speedboat/Helicopter Services (Strictly on availability basis)
Speedboat on Hire (Upto 20 Pax) INR.35,000/- (Euro:540/-) Per one way.
Helicopter Service (Upto 8 Pax) INR.80,000/- (Euro:1,250/-) Per Hour.
Or
Agatti stop-over in a private guest-house at Agatti interiors

Service Charges:-

Service Charge is applicable: For upto: 6% (Indian citizen)
Service Charge is applicable: For upto: 10% (For foreigners)

Agatti Stop-over Stay Upgradation:-
